I think you may know the answer to your question and want your son in Div2.
Good luck

i think the div 3 g finished top 4 - thye played summer grand final and were relegated to div 3 because another club nominated and had rights so they went to div 3.

sooner we have pro rel the better

Maybe these div 3 parents need to think about where their kids are playing, go to another club where you get a chance, Sturt is not the be all and end all of basketball cllubs.

Make the competition stronger and fairer across the clubs and teach the kids how to win and lose

And well done to the South Boys who won

says Norfolk Ave....

maybe they are happy with D3 and know that outstanding coaches await them next season as top age players or u14s.

where it is hit and miss who you get elsewhere.

; What a presumption there are many more clubs out there who have good coaches and ethics

And also didn't South's under 14 boys team make classics and nationals?

I love it when people make assumptions when they slag off at others.

Maybe they are happy where they are, ie friends, location etc.

you always hear the zoneing people say kids shouldnt be allowed to move.

Now you all want them to move...

Cant have it both ways...

Maybe they should be speaking to Sturt and ask the question - how did our Div 3 team make the grand final but the Div 2 team didn't??

@7767

Number of factors, probably directly related to level of comp, possible that 2's - 3's have the wrong players in the wrong group? maybe a little of both?

Div 3 would be top age kids, div 2 would be bottom age kids.

If the Div 3 team is better than the Div 2 team due to age why all the fuss. Sturt have made a conscious decision to do that so I don't understand how this is an issue for the greater basketball community!!
