Steven Markovic sacked by Kragujevic in Serbia

As taken from Eurobasket.com;

Disobedience and refusal to enter the game against Partizan in the Serbian Superliga seventh round, the club from Kragujevac has decided to immediately terminate the contract with Steven Markovic (190-G-85). Club from Kragujevac were told that they could not tolerate disrespect of duties and the club decided to with the Australian playmaker terminate cooperation before they planned.Markovic this season missed only one game in the Adriatic League, where he averaged 5.4 points, 1.7 rebound 3.5 assists as 20.1 minutes on the court. In Serbian Superleague he played all seven matches and in 22.1 minutes he is recorded 6.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.

Wow...sounds like a few issues?! Where will he end up?

So the guy who left the NBL and broke his contract because he wanted to play in Europe refused to play?

What is his points rating? Would anyone take a risk on him? Not likely IMO.

I don't know much about the guy.

But perhaps there is another side to the story which we aren't hearing about.

Maybe, as can be common in Europe, they were late with his pay?

Interesting to hear more about this.

Doubt any NBL team would want him now. His time has past and left the NBL in ways which were always going to bite him in the backside if he ever did want to return. Aaron Bruce V2

Two NBL teams already made contact with him some time ago. Not sure if he will return, but it's not out of the question.
