New Mexico vs Kilsyth SEABL

Was able to watch this game live in person that ended with the Lobos winning 78-66 win over an SEABL Kilsyth hybrid team.

Kirk goes for 26 in comeback win 78-66 over Kilsyth

The Lobos were without Cam Bairstow who is with the Boomers in camp.

Greenwood had almost his whole family in attendance which was nice to see, including his sistyer who has signed to play for the Lobos next season as well.

Greenwood had 13 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals with 2 blocks (he only got credited with 1 but he definitely had 2!).

The match up between star centre Alex Kirk (26pts & 9reb) with Tim Lang was a great contest. Kirk was near automatic with his back to the basket, whilst Lang was hitting open jumpers everywhere on his way to a team high 17 points.

SEABL team took it right up to the Lobos and led at 3qtr time, but them Lobos stepped it up and quickly put it out of reach.

Is Kirk considered an NBA prospect? Seen him listed as both 7' and 6'9".

Isaac - definitely consder Kirk as an NBAS prospect. Nobody on the SEABL team could guard him (Tim Lang was the most effective), especially with his back to the basket, and he had a sweet jump hook. He showed his versatility by also nailing a triple and a couple of mid range J's. Big body, but can get up quick for a jam.

He was also on the USA WUG team but got limited opportunity.
