All-injured team in recent NBL history

Can you name a ten man team from recent injury-prone NBL players? Who has that "often injured" reputation? Matt Knight as starting center?

Burston? Ballinger?

Current injured team could start with:

D Martin/R Martin
Madgen
?
?
Knight

Are we doing serious injuries or volume? Difference with some players who have had some injuries placed on them (like Peach's stacks on with Madge ;) )

Percentage of career missed due to injury?

Surely Harvs HAS to be captain?

Wortho could make this team. Has a habit of getting injured when his team is no longer a mathematical chance of making the playoffs.

What is the criteria? Number of games missed? Number of injuries regardless of games missed?

If you are going on games missed last season:

R. Martin (15 games)/C. Henry (8 games)
L. Hurdle (15 games)/T. Coenraad (13 games)
J. Harvey (18 games)/M. Creek (16 games)
D. Rychart (13 games)/J. Holmes (7 games)
L. Schenscher (7 games)/W. Hudson (7 games)

For some context (list of players is not exhaustive)

J. Harvey (51 games over 3 seasons (10, 23, 18))
K. Williams (38 games over 3 seasons (34, 0, 4)
R. Hinder (33 games over 3 seasons (2, 31, 0))
R. Martin (28 games over 3 seasons (13, 0, 15))
D. Rychart (27 games over 3 seasons (0, 14, 13))
M. Norton (26 games over 2 seasons (26, 0))
A. Ballinger (25 games over 3 seasons (2 , 20, 3))
M. Creek (24 games over 3 seasons (8, 0, 16))
M. Knight (23 games over 3 seasons (13, 5, 5))
D. Gruber (18 games over 3 seasons (8, 10, 0))
L. Hurdle (15 games over 1 season (15))
L. Schenscher (14 games over 3 seasons (0 ,7 , 7))
S. Redhage (13 games over 3 seasons (13, 0, 0))
T. Coenraad (13 games over 3 seasons (0, 0, 13))
J. Cadee (12 games over 3 seasons (12, 0, 0))
D. Martin (11 games over 3 seasons (0, 8, 3))
M. Burston (10 games over 3 seasons (1, 9, 0))
C. Henry (8 games over 1 season (8))
J. Holmes (7 games over 3 seasons (0, 0, 7))
W. Hudson (7 games over 2 seasons (0, 7))

Rychart would have to be on the bench after the last few years.

Good work Silencer, that is one impressive list.

Are Centres and Forwards more prone to back style injuries and Guards more knees/legs?

Anyone looked at the injury types?

Saw a study about NBA injuries yesterday. Worth googling for even just for a cursory skim to see what's most common and what results in most missed games. Had knee injuries as less common than first thought. Ankle injuries were most common.

I would expect guards to have a lot of ankle type injuries with all the forces of pushing off, twisting etc. during the process of guarding the ball carrier. Maybe the forwards roll their ankles landing after rebounds. Tall people have a higher potential for lower back issues and with the hard floors I would expect jarring of the spine on rebounds.

There seems to be a lower rate of finger injuries than I would have expected considering that ball catching is a big part of the game - would you have say 320 passes in a game?

just an observation, that on the information given, maybe Matt Knight isnt top of the list after all to be given the captains job.

No, but apart from Harvey and Ballinger he is the only decent player to miss games in all of the last three seasons.
