Ron Howard to the Pacers

Just saw that former 36ers import Ron Howard has got a non-guaranteed deal with the Pacers.

Good luck to Ron, obviously not certain to make the regular season roster, but got for him to get a shot.

Whats a deal like this worth financially? Minimum is around 500k isnt it, does he get paid around $10k per week whilst he is on the roster. If he lasts say until say mid October he could potentially make $60k, then pick up a $30k ish D-league contract, not a bad way to make $60-100k a year.

Always thought he was a good player and wish we got to see him under a different coach playing his more natural game.

The only import we have had under Clarke that the players didn't like.

Shame the Bucks didn't offer him a contract. Ron Howard in Milwaukee seems a good combination.
