Very sad and tragic... but not surprised - came back from Chicago recently and was relieved when left, never seen so many cops and so little order, like a wild west. Feel for the people over there.

Chicago felt pretty safe to me, but aside from one restaurant and one bar, we didn't leave the central area when we were there. Obviously some areas rougher than others.
Try Detroit if you think Chicago is bad.
Have you seen some of the gun shows on Fox lately from America.
It looks like you can buy any gun you want and have it modified to work better. It is unbelievable.

too many guns and barely any money on mental health.
It is estimated by ATF that there is well over 200 Million guns in circulation in the US! if they could only replace those guns with guitars, pianos or basketballs that country would be a lot safer.

Detroit is safer than Chicago. Ever since the big ass moving of people from homes there the violence just blew up, and is easily the least safe city in the USA. Wonder if Oprah will do a special on her hometown now lol
