Basketball Governance: transparency in Annual Reports?

I was recently reading Albury Wodonga Bandits Annual Report and Income and Expenditure statement on their website and was wondering why most sporting organisations prefer not to do so. Isn't it good governance to be open and transparent with your members.

90% of clubs members would be horrified at what their clubs did and who got paid what.

Interesting observation Happy Days. Its the difference between an incorporated association and a company. The company's annual report becomes searchable on ASIC - you can search for BA limited foe example. However, an inc. cannot be searched for as far as I know.
