Who is Hamish Burns?

Anybody know anything about him. Got a text from a SEABL coach watching the game he played against Exums and he couldn't speak highly enough of him. Says he should make all tournament team. Apparently from SA but trying to find out more info about him.
Anybody enlighten us?

I am watching this tournament and its a joke who is playing D?

Semi final and 2 AIS players playing for a school and state they hardly identify with take over 70 shots between them

Burns not that great this tournament is showing very little!

Unsure about the mum bit!

It's school ball people. Seriously, make judgements at National Campionships where EVERYONE on a team can play.

That's a bit rich anon. Think if you look back you'll see the school nationals had some seriously strong teams that could go head to head with most state teams

Strong player, good leader, when pumped he is unstoppable - very very fast, has played above his age group for many years, doesn't seek the limelight – hence who is Hamish Burns?

Ricey- ridiculous statement to say any school could compete with a state team. Unless your talking about NT or WA country

I played against Hamish in under 14s, 16s and 18s division 1 in SA
He's 6'2-6'3, awkward looking but pretty useful jump shot, and ridiculously athletic. Caught and thrown down more than 1 alley-oop against my team alone. Gets to the rim at will and one of the best defenders I've seen.

Currently U23 Men D2 SA Sturt 1, playing with Tom Daly, Jan Warbout, Sam White, Andy Thomas, and others. You can look at BSA District site for further info.

Junior basketball and school basketball is a long way off being a serious senior player at ABL level. The kid has some good skills and you want to see if he can take it to the next level...

I know Happy Days and it is perfectly reasonable to think a SEABL coach would contact him seeking information, given the fact that Hamish is from SA.

I would have thought a SEABL coach would already know who he was. Yet Happy Days SA asks who he is here. Make no sense at all.
