From the media release:
Byworth replaces the previously appointed Brad Sibraa.
"The club maintains a focus that one of its primary duties is to provide pathways for both players and coaches," CEO Dean Anglin said.
"With Graham available to coach, the McDonald's Supercats have decided to change its Big V Division 1 coach.
"Graham was an outstanding assistant coach to Shane Bow and we are delighted that he is now available to coach the Big V men's team.
"Previously Graham had indicated that personal commitments during 2014 would affect his ability to take on the role.
"However, on reflection, and after some discussions, he has decided that he will be able to make the role work and is excited to be given the opportunity."
-------
Was Graham originally offered the job but had to decline at the time because he thought he couldn't fully commit to it? But with some time he has been able to find a way to make things work, and so he has now been appointed?
One of the articles relating to Brad's appointment as coach did mention that he was having to look for work in Geelong; maybe he was having trouble finding a suitable job so had to withdraw from coaching the side?
Will be interesting to find out what the actually reason for the change is.
