If that's true they will take some beating.

All depends on which emerging boomers will be lining up!

Even with the emergining boomers they might struggle against some of the bigger line ups

Congratulations George, another product of the Geelong Supercats program and country Victoria.

Talented 6'7" swing man with a high ceiling, great to watch play, he has a consistent outside shot and can take it to the rim at will.

Well done Chantel, so young and so talented, dare we say yet another Geelong Supercats development player with loads of potential.

At almost 6' tall she can score big from almost anywhere around the key way and has courage to burn, can run all day and ball skill are excellent.

Joyce said the change in philosophy reflected the need to provide support and development opportunities for talented athletes in the 19-26 age range, beyond their junior careers.

"When you're looking to identifying future Opals, trying to identify those players at 16-to-18 years of age is really difficult," Joyce said.

“We felt that some players, particularly tall players, develop later and this program provides an opportunity for players post junior basketball to be identified and hopefully expediate that transition to the Opals through their time at the CoE.”

Robert Colton? There is at least 15 kids ahead of him! Limited skill set

Really? That's why Colton was 2nd highest scorer in the U/18 Australian National Championships in 2014 with more 3s than anyone in the last several years at 41%. Colton brings home the bacon when it counts the most, like sealing the last 5 points in December to win the Aust School Championships.
