Again a sad state of affairs with BA having No Money to send a team. All money being dedicated to the senior programs only. All our eggs in one basket at the moment with little consideration for junior development. Lets just sit back & watch all our talent go to Netball or AFL.

Is that the case AHOS? Do you know we are not going to AS because of cash? There is a World Cup and World Championship for senior teams this year, it would be understandable that most money is being directed to the senior teams.

And can you explain how not going to AS will drive kids to football?

From memory BA used to send their Under 18 team. Since the change to Under 17's and the Worlds in UAE in August Id expect they are saving their money to send them on a pre-worlds tour closer to the event.

Sports that have no Olympic or international relevance like aussie rules, rugby league, netball receive ridiculous amounts of funding while basketball can't scrape by. Pathetic by the government, politicians as an extension of the general public need to get over these quaint provincial sports and fund Olympic sports. Have a good hard look at yourselves.
