Wortho should by all reckoning be done with. They say "Veteran" about him but hes been the most overrated Aussie player since 2008. Luke Nevill is big, and borderline useless in decent comps.. he shouldn't make it through when the big guns come around. Stiendl has potential, but we all know he wont make the team.. I don't mind Gliddon, I must ask why no Blanchfield though? He is probably closer to the mark then a lot of these guys.

There are definitely some solid inclusions, Motum is an interesting proposition who could become a big deal for us atleast.

Boomers need some experience for leadership.
I'm guessing Wortho has agreed to go in return for a leadership role....been done before.
Perhaps joint captaincy with Martin, but I doubt it. I'll agree that he's finished when we look at WC and Olympic selection....especially the latter.

A definite "B" team with only Damian martin, Goulding and Motum likely to get considered for Spain team. I would take Petrie over Walker and definitely take him over Mark Worthington.

Settle down all you haters! Lets be honest about what the Sino Challenge actually is. It typically has been China's B team vs Australia's B team. China didn't even qualify for the World Champs in September so you would assume they wouldn't send the Olympic team. The boomers use these games in and around prep camps for major champs. Last year it was uni games, this year it is world champs. We all know that the team that is listed here will be far from the actual team we will see be announced in June for Worlds. Broekhoff potentially the only one who could squeeze a spot in final 12?
