Any OS based aussies coming home to nbl?

Seems most of our overseas based players dont want to come home, Markovic the only recent one.

What about guys like barlow, andersen, motum, maric etc? Are nbl clubs making plays for them? New marquee rule should help..

It's not that they aren't interested in coming home, it's that they can earn more OS.

Marquee rule doesn't really help as not many teams can afford it.

Also the marquee money would likely be spent on an American who is a better player than the above mentioned players. I believe the marquee rule should exist but only for players that do not hold an Australian/Asian passport but if a team (eg Perth) gets an American marquee player they shouldn't be allowed to get another 'import' except they can essentially get a player outside of the salary cap like one mentioned above. The same should apply to poorer clubs the other way around, if they pay for a good
Australian player with a majority of their money, they retain the right to get 2 imports.

Markovic, Ogilvy and Worthington came back last year. Barlow and Nevill possibilities this year? Penney for the year after.

I think there will be more tempting offers as the league expands, given four teams will add another $3.5-4mill to the overall spend.
