Sturt Men loss by 2. Were never going to win from the last 1/4...couldn't pull a foul off the refs. Must say I am disappointed as a Sixers fan with Gibbos game. No more complaining about Ervin. Took the kids to watch him play and won't be doing that again.

Perhaps as a fan you should be just that & support your teams players..

Understand Gibbo is in his off season preparing for a season whilst everyone else out there is at the end of a season heading into finals..

Isn't boomers coming up and I was referring to the on court intentional fouling that was not picked up and beyond reasonable. Threw Klason to the floor, push Bauer on the hip on the drive, elbows and more to guts of players all game and it was not in fair play. He should not have to go there with his abilities and the refs should pick it up no matter who you are. He has more talent than that and didn't use it. Off season is no excuse and again I thought boomers coming up:

Not sure what you were watching but Gibbo didn't shoot a free throw all night & only got fouled twice...Man handled all night to try & counter him..

Threw Klaosen to the ground and somehow he got called for the foul by the female umpire. She was awful. Over reffed as female umpires are inclined to do when reffing male matches.

Sturt didn't manhandle gibbo. They barely paid him any attention cos it looked like he didn't care if they won or lost. Hence the shit numbers he put up

Yeah your right they just let him do as he pleased...Why would you pay him any attention..

Only 1 number that counts....

They played him straight up. Didn't double ever. Didn't do anything extra. Gibbo didnt care enough to do anything. Had 7 points and was a non factor.

Not sure why they had 3 refs on ... just made it worse. Love to see a split up foul count ... you'll find the female ref made 70 percent of the fouls. Over reffed something insane.

I would say his 3 to put the Eagles up with 2mins 15 seconds to play was a factor..

R17 will be a massive game for Centrals and Sturt. Centrals are +5 on Sturt and with the table being so tight, the split will be crucial Sturt will need to win by 6 and Centrals need to win to secure a top 5 spot, or have a small loss.

To complicate things, the Hudson Maher foundation dinner is on that night, so will Brett be coaching that night, or coach, then do a runner in time for dessert?

The women's top 5 will probably stay as is. Woodville will be left lamenting in 6th unless they can get an upset against Sturt, or unless Norwood has a shocker (I'll leave the money in small bills in a brown paper bag in the MARS carpark)

I would say that f centrals beat West on Sunday they would most likely finish 3rd. Already have the split on Forrestvile and as mentioned sturt would need to beat them by 6 or more to for them not to own the split on Sturt. Both Sturt and West games are at starplex for centrals too and they beat both of those sides away without in 1st round. I think the would be eyeing off 3rd spot!

No Foley ... but a 19 point win is huge for the women's competition.
