Daequon Montreal? A SEABL import? No way.

We're signing a 6'8 replacement for Johnson?
Schenscher the only actual centre?

Hey all - this is confirmed - he has signed with Euroleague club Stelmet Zielona Gora in Poland.

Stelmet Zielona Gora reaches Down Under for big man Johnson

Same club Dave Barlow played for.

IF we have in fact signed Montreal, I don't understand replacing DJ with another power forward?

I think Wright believes Petrie, Schenscher and Anthony can cover centre and he can get more bang for buck with an import PF. Makes sense.

Given Petrie played centre a fair bit last year to cover DJ's defence I don't think it's a big deal.

And also congrats to Daniel!

That's a pretty solid Euro club who would be very competitive in the NBL, they are guaranteed of playing in the Eurocup and have a chance in about eight weeks time to play for the last Euroleague spot.

DJ's first official game will be against Russian powers UNICS Kazan and he'll probably match-up with Greek hard man Kostas Kaimakoglou so that would be a good test.

how many points would Daequon Montreal be?

if he comes from SEABL,
does that mean he is only an 8 or 9 ?

All the best to DJ.

He has cut his teeth in the NBL and done very well.

Hope he does Australia proud over in Europe.
