Former NBL V NBA comparisons

Who are the Jordans, the Dr.J's, Scotties and Rodmans of the NBL.
I think Gaze is Jordan and Copeland is Pippen. Other than them I can't think of any.

Depends what you are comparing.. The player who had the most impact on the respective leagues has been Jordan and Gaze.. but their games are in NO way similar. Copelands game is in no way similar to scotty pippens.. the only comparison these guys have is that they are the best tag team in the league in that era.

If you want to compare games, Gaze is probably closer to Bill Paxton or to a much lesser extent toni kukoc. Shane Heal is probably Steve Kerr, As for Michael Jordan comparison.. I am not sure about old imports but the closest recently was James ennis for sheer athleticism and ability.. but then again comparing anyone to Jordan would be an injustice to jordan.

I did always think that Derek Rucker reminded me of Reggie Miller.. a shorter version I suppose. Paul Rees would be your Greg Ostertag..

Andrew Gaze always reminded me of that Australian player who won a NBA title with the Spurs in 1999

Leon Trimmingham as Shawn Kemp, due to the amount of highlights of dunks!

I love when Gazey played that storm chaser in Twister.
