Safe to say Baynes is our best player then?

Baynes was dominant at both ends. Surprised he had only 6 blocks. It seemed like much more.

Brock Motum doing surprising well as pre-warm up games most of the talk was about Bairstow, I wonder if a chance for starting PF spot?

Also good to see Goulding and Broekhoff shooting the 3 ball well. Do you have the % as to what Newley is shooting the 3 ball?

Also - any chance you recorded the minutes as well?

Broekhoff under rated imo. If he can continue his shooting form in the world cup he will be a real x factor for us.
Out of interest do you have any Jawai stats?

IMO Ingles needs to step up on offence for us to have a chance to beat the likes of Lithuania, Solvenia and then teams in the crossovers like France, Greece, Croatia etc

Baynes is doing great inside, Newley is his usual self off the bench providing a spark, Motum has been a surprise, Delly is solid as always but we need 1 more scoring option. Andersen is the other guy that gets a lot of looks in this offence, so i would like to see him step up as well.

^^ yeah joe really needs to up the consistency of scoring, he is best as a leader of the team.

^ I'd say broekhoff should be a regular off the bench and Newley should start.

Exum has a better assist and turnover per then Delly.

Backs up that he has looked better creating.

Ingles has just been woeful.

Broekhoff has been good from 3 but that's really all he brings. When he doesn't get the looks like in the last France games he's basically useless out there.

Motum and Bairstow both started out so well but have kind of regressed in the last few games. I'd start Bairstow over Anderson due to Anderson's terrible defense.

My starting line up would be

Baynes
Bairstow
Ingles
Newley
Delly

Newley has really impressed me. I've hated him in the Australian team for so long but he's been playing very well and very smart in the warmup games.

^Anon, I like that starting 5 if we can get them all to click together. Baynes and Bairstow can't get in each other's way and Ingles does have a responsibility to shoot it while Delly will have to also get to the rack and Newly will have to find space.

Get them working for each other and it might go well, but it could also turn ugly if they don't defend!
