Melbourne United roster

Chris Anstey was right: Australia needs to see Stephen Dennis.
Against Cairns in pre-season G2 he was smooth, intelligent and pretty well unstoppable.
Cairns imports, awaiting clearance, should now be in no doubt about the League they have joined, nor about the contribution they will need to make to make the Taipans competitive.
UniTigers, on the other hand, look professional, composed and very capable.
Melbourne fans must be feeling good.

Yeah Dennis is a gun. There was a game at last years Blitz, which I watched, where he totally dominated and showed a variety of skills and attributes that will make him a dangerous contributor in the NBL.

Combined with McRae, Barlow, Wortho, and Kickert, this team will be very hard to slow down. Then you add in all the role players- Corletto, Walker, Tomlinson, McMillan- on paper this team looks like it will mount a serious challenge to the Cats. And that's good, it's what the league needs.

After watching said preseason game, two things became apparent.
1. Dennis believes he's never EVER fouled anyone! What a sook.
2. Kickert is even money for most tech fouls for this season.
