Aron Baynes and a Spurs sign and trade?

With training camp inching closer, there's still been no word on whether the San Antonio Spurs will re-sign free agent Aron Baynes. With one more roster spot left, the Spurs could offer it to Aron or simply head into the season with an open spot.

Now a report from Yahoo! Sports indicated the possibility of San Antonio doing a sign and trade with Baynes at the forefront.

Baynes averaged 3 points, 2.7 rebounds and shot 43 percent last season in San Antonio.

Aron played with Team Australia and had a great showing and he might be trying to leverage that to field better offers.

And although he would like to stay in San Antonio, there have been reports there is some serious consideration for Baynes from European teams but nothing has shaken out.

The Spurs might be trying to sign another free agent or it might possibly be because Baynes may be asking for more than his market value.

Hope he goes to Dallas, they need a backup PF/C with some strength.

Or how about going to 76'ers for Miami's 1st rd pick next season (should be around 20).

Big $$$ offers on the table in Europe right now at some very big clubs.

Would love to see him stay with the Spurs, but their $ offer is insignificant in comparison to the Euro offers on the table from what I have heard.

Wouldn't be such a bad idea going to Europe.

Won an NBA championship, played with fantastic players and a coach.
