James Spenceley has confirmed Rhys Martin will be the player replacing Gruber in a Facebook comment last night. Not an official announcement but he was asked the direct question if it was Martin replacing Gruber to which he answered " Yes, Rhys Martin. ( in the comments replying to Ange Saville)

From TRAIN (@chuggachug) on Twitter:

@Andthefoulnet spenceley was saying Gruber had been offered a role in the business side of things so it's not like they ditched him entirely
(Same Train?)

Rhys Martin obviously had to come back in if available, who else were they going to release?

I can understand the backlash but at the end of the day someone had to make way for him to come back and they had 5 people filling 4 positions in the bigs and it wasn't going to be Nevill, Forman, Davidson or Ballinger.

Now Cooks will become the 11th man instead of Gruber.

When is he going to suit up? Ervin?

alexkrad, could've been Nevill or Ballinger rather than messing with someone the team and fans really liked and had worked with for so long.

So who's starting at PG? Ervin slides over to the two and Carson comes off the pine in the Deleon role?

Balls needs way more minutes than he gets.
His jumper is sweet.

Good that Martin is back too :)

Balls is a defensive liability!BJ Anthony schooled him on every possession last week.

This will be his last year I think...

I would have kept Gruber and released Ballinger.

All the best to the Hawks....they deserve a break.

It is still a shame though that the 'break' came at the expense of Gruber.
