Out goes the panthers finals aspirations, now they will have all summer to whine about the refs and that Woodville game. If they were good enough they wouldn't have relied so heavily on one games results. Best teams are the finals.

Forestville men won 110-97, and women won 66-54.
Dix 29 (10-14 FG, 8-11 FT) and 6, Sullivan 23 and 7, Sutton 17 and 8. Dougie's 6 fouls in 18 minutes wins him the foul-off.
For South, Scanlon had 38 (almost a point per minute) and 3 steals, Pilkington 25 and 12 but it wasn't great after that: Kosmider had 2 assists, 4 turnovers and fouled out. Luke Frost shot 1-9 and Thur was 2-10.
In the girls game, Braithwaite had the top HSA with 17 points, 21 rebounds and 4 blocks and Kelson had 14 (but from 6-20). Ranford was decent with 10 (though 4-17), 9 and 5. Smith had 15 and 6 and Lindsay scored 14 and added 7 boards.

no south will not whine re the refs - we are better than that - kelly and the guys did a great job to get where they were considering no-one really gave them a lot of hope and we don't have any nbl players just a TEAM of great guys who want and tried to do their best. They will use the summer to work on where they missed their opportunities and will be an even bigger force in the winter. Guys you can hold your heads up high - your are top in our eyes

Anonymous, South beat Eastern comfortably in their home and away games this season, and beat west with nash and lost to them with a dominating truslove at St ives. West have very little without those two. South are unlucky not to be finals bound

Forestville are going to very tough to beat, especially having home court advantage in second semi-final, especially if they shoot at 64% again, like they did in the first half on Saturday.
Hardly any Offensive Rebounds for Eagles, a bit hard when most of your shots are going in!
