What's the latest on Bogut's injury?

Anyone know what his new injury is and how long he is out for?

I'm no doctor but isn't tendonitis almost always degenerative? When AFL players get it they tend to finish their careers in the forward line to limit their running.

I'm no doctor either but are we sure he is actually injured?
Odd. That doesn't sound like something that would happen to Bogut.

Tendonitis is an absolute killer.

It basically prevented me from running, jumping, climbing stairs, getting up from a seat.

It is brutal.

But NBA players have access to the best treatment, the best doctors and rehab specialists.

Kawhi Leonard is a classic example of someone who has had tendonitis for some years now, yet he seems to have overcome the problem.

Plus this is the first I've heard about it. Tendonitis isn't an issue. Tendonosis is.

Curtley not really.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tendinitis

If it develops into tendinosis then you have more issues.

It really depends on what the cause of the inflammation is. If you have structural issues and can't fix it, such that physical activity results in the tendon becoming inflamed.

(I picked up tendinitis in my left knee due to muscular imbalance and ankle injuries. Haven't had any issues this year after picking up pilates this year, but that also coincided with not playing basketball... back to basketball next year, so we'll see how it goes)

Try being 7 foot, solid, intensely active, and bumping against giants.

You'll be injured, plenty.
