Hobart sign Masunda.

So Hobart have made their first announcement. Are there any whispers of any other players close to signing or is it going to be a one man tean?

Why has there been such a relaxed determination to sign anyone this yr? It seems to be league wide. Are clubs actually not recruiting well or are they just keeping quiet?

You would think clubs would want to be heading into the new yr with their players (aus players especially) signed and ready to begin training.

Most teams have already signed the majority of their sides. Hobart are one of the last and Frankston to do anything.
"a relaxed determination to sign anyone this yr?" is exactly the opposite of the truth.

It has been pretty active with the usual phone calls and coffees being had over the last few months.

Don't think Frankston have signed anyone let alone a coach.Start to wonder whether they can continue in SEABL or whether Big V is a better fit.

Season won't start until mid April. I guess there isn't a rush...but teams like Frankston will just miss out on any players available because they will sign elsewhere. They've already lost Chuck. They don't have a point guard and they don't seem to have any money to spend.

Oh but there is.. there's a Ben Rush.

Hobart announce Tom Wright today also. Two solid imports and 2 serviceable locals and they're back to being competitive.
