No Crowd in Euro League Game

Just watching on Foxtel a Turkish Airlines Euroleague game between Red Star anf Laborara or something, being played in Belgrade.

What is odd about this game is that all the seats are virtually empty but their are photos of people on the seats, different people, not the same person on each seat.

Anyone have a clue why?

Usually if there is violence or bad crowd behavior, the club gets punished by having no fans at the next home game

Saw that, was weird that there was nobody there at all, and made super creepy by the fact there were photos of people in each spot

Three game ban as per the article.

Someone was stabbed to death in the crowd during a game!

They're both European and Asian as Turkey straddles the border of both. From memory, this part of Istanbul is on the European side.

So, do both teams suffer the same penalty of no crowds for such a sad act?
