Stop bashing the Mornington Breakers

Perhaps it's just me, perhaps I like seeing basketball in glass half full not empty; neither is wrong just one is more positive than negative. I have seen shots fired at DeMarcus, Mornington senior Men and the committee and it's plain to see its someone internal or very close to its program; do they not see the damage it can cause? Not only to Morningtons program but basketball on the Peninsula. Perhaps that's what they are attempting to achieve but discrediting DeMarcus seems to be the main goal.
The committee has been fantastic in getting the club back financially and deserve a pat on the back, DeMarcus deserves his opportunity to sink or swim under a program run by him; this is not being allowed to happen as those with limited basketball knowledge are directing him to go right when clearly there should be a left turn. How many of us are confident in our job and are allowed to do it unhindered and if we fail know it may cost us our job? Well how would you feel if management told you how to do your job knowing full well they did not have the experience or knowledge to be telling you what to do or how to do it, you do it their way then they target you to remove you because you failed at what your good at? Let DeMarcus do his job, if he fails then it's because HE failed not because of failed program implemented by people without knowledge or experience. Last bit of of advice, if you have an issue with someone, man up; approach the person and talk to them and tell them before hitting these pages, if you walk away in disagreement then you know where each other stand but would hope you both would respect each other.........Rant out

Adjusted the title so you don't confuse people who think Breakers means "NZ Breakers" and DeMarcus means "DeMarcus Cousins".

I imagine this will just draw negative attention to exactly what you want to stop occurring, but your call.

Well done to the new committee at Mornington on turning over a profit of $235k in the last 18 months. Thats a fantastic effort by the committee and im sure alot of associations would be envious.Shortly they are going to employ a Program Manager? Do any other clubs have one?

Fantastic results off the court Happy Days, can`t be unhappy with that. From reading the comment son the other post I don`t think that anyone was denying that. They were more or less asking why is the off court success not translating to on court success.

Agree, its the next move that they make off the court that is crucial.Think the womens program will improve this year but there mens program needs some help and quick.

Networking 101. Thats all they need to do, that is how you get people to your club. It doesn`t always have to do with money. Using the distance excuse for not getting players is a cop out for lazy coaches/clubs.
