Been done for a while pending approval of the franchise.

Was hinted at in one of Boti's fluff pieces about Erin wanting to play for Adelaide although their financial problems made and tough and they hadn't returned her agents email.

"erin has always been about her .... and $"

I'm sure you would do the noble thing anon and take a massive cut to stay in SA. Erin has busted her ass to be where she is today. She has made enormous sacrifices and suffered numerous setbacks to be in the position she is today.

An athlete has a very limited time-frame to earn a lifetimes wages.

Thankfully people like you amount to nought and she'll continue to be an inspiration to young basketballs in this State.

Brendan Joyce has shown Heal the way from no longer wanted in Mens hoops to a nice gig in womens hoops.

There were good reasons why Erin hasn't been in the Opals team ie. It is a team not 'all about Erin'. Great to have a team back in SE QLD

She missed one olypmics in 2012 (to establish herself in the wnba - and was still a very controversial non selection).

Other then that she has been part of the opals program for the last 10 years.

got to agree, Erin has always been about Erin and the $$$ she was never a realistic back to Adelaide she says it, but it is mouthing words. I also agree she missed 2012 cause she is seen to be a me first player and not a team player. Loads at high level say it and believe it, and often where there is smoke there is fire.

Expect Heal's daughter and Erin's partner to both be in the line up.

No wonder the general public isn't interested in our game when we continue to recycle once successful players with questionable character/business record/coaching record.

Wow, reading hurtful comments about a really great person is disappointing. What an amazing athlete she has been for this country and an incredible role model for young women. Is shocking to see the HATERS waste their time on this forum. Nobody wants to read your jealous comments. Keep them to yourself and get a life.

If Erin was just in it for the $$ she'd stick with Europe anyway. This is clearly partly a lifestyle decision. WNBL is not where you play to get the big bucks unless you're LJ.

Potentially an Opals thing to be apart of camps leading up to the Olypmics and also a body management thing. Going Europe / WNBA back to back for a number of years isn't easy on the body, especailly when you hit your 30s.
