BA COE SEABL - Not Eligible For Finals

What's the point of playing in a competition plus having established WNBL players included on the women's side of things and not play for a result.

For the men its purely youth which is an argument but why not record the score line 20-0 every week so it doesn't harm other teams and their finals aspirations from a win/loss or percentage point of view.

^ If your going to post brush up on the facts.

OP is talking about the COE Women playing finals.

As for the men they beat two teams last year, so not sure a 20-0 result against them would be a completely fair outcome for all teams.

Also, the COE men's team had an average losing margin of 12pts. Loosing one game by 22 and another by 20 and lost 6 games by 10 or less.

Very Old

the (old) Institute of Sports teams ( with a junior development focus) were all allowed to play in and contest WNBL ( and won one title) so basketball administrators seem to have short memories and a penchant for moving goalposts without checking to see why they were placed in that position originally.

its because they dont play a full season of games. They only play each team once, and have australian team committments at finals time
