Olympic Media Poll

As an accredited NBL/ WNBL Media person, I have been asked to participate in a poll asking who will finish where in the Olympic basketball.

Here is what I put, I will post the results when released, so you can all see how little I know about International basketball (I know some of you would argue I know nothing about domestic basketball either!!)

I read something yesterday that suggested China could finish anywhere from 1-6 in the men's competition.

Italy beat the US. We beat Italy (albeit after 3 attempts). China beat us. Weak logic, but I don't think anything can be ruled out.

I'd rate Lithuania and China more highly than your list positionings.

I'd put Lithuania in the medals for sure, Australia should be happy with 5th place finish in my opinion, anyhting higher would be a HUGE bonus.

Men's competition is very very open this year, you could be extremely right or extremely wrong. Don't know enough abuot women but I expect the usual suspects to be at the top - is Australia good enough for gold? Do the US ladies have their full team?
