BBNZ hopeful Adams will play Olympic qualifier

OKC's failure to qualify for the NBA Playoffs may have increased BBNZ's chances of securing Adam's for the Olympic qualifier against the Boomers.

Adams is expecting to be in New Zealand shortly now that his second NBA season is officially over.

I'm not gonna hold my breath on this one but BBNZ have said that during recent talks OKC were a lot more comfortable with the idea of releasing Adam's to NZ's national program now that he is out of his rookie season and developing nicely.

At least BBNZ are being very proactive in chasing NZ's premier player instead of sitting on their hands.

Cedric Jackson hasn't been naturalised yet & Steve Adams hasn't committed yet.

Pledger is still recovering from surgery to his foot and is unlikely to be healthy let alone fit.

BJ Anthony is still recovering from his injury.

Leon Henry left in an Ambulance last night after smashing his face on the hardwood after an alley-oop dunk, fractured cheekbone & concussion.

NZ need these guys to all be fit, healthy & available.

Tai & Corey Webster
Kirk Penney
Mika Vukona & Isaac Fotu
Reuben TeRangi & Duane Bailey
Rob Loe
