2016? try 2020.

There's a big debt that's a long way off being cleared.

So they are not going to have a senior side?

That's great for the juniors to aim for.

As a club they need SEABL team for those kids to progress to and also college returnees etc.

Otherwise they will face issues from U18's in keeping kids as why would you stay?

Having money to enter team thou is an issue, maybe they go big v then look to SEABL in 3/5 years time

Knox"s most important issue is to get their debt to a manageable level before they think about seabl and I am sure they will do this. As has been pointed out before the Junior Raiders and Junior Domestic teams are very strong. They still have BigV Men and Womens teams and they are also strong.

Smart move would be to look at BigV in a few years time then rebuild to SEABL from there.

Their YL team will sustain any decent talent coming through in the short term, U18's players aren't ready to play SEABL anyway and would need a few years in U20's then YL first.

whats point to bring them back too early if your yl players couldnt compete in SEABL bringing players in would be at a cost again.

i bet most clubs would be able to answer this but its hard to make much money off seabl teams most clubs would nearly get a lose

It's actually a smarter move holding off a few years and getting a strong core of 19-23 year old local players together before looking at SEABL again. The past few years have been mainly outsiders and this costs a lot more than using locally developed talent. That said you need to clear the debt first before anything.

"Developing locals" is that what is happening in the YL men?
