Anonymous, no one is pretending that Delly is the best player on the team. No one is claiming that he is in the top 100 players in the NBA even. He is a solid role player. He does what he was put there to do, and he does it well. People like David Blatt think he can play, I would take his opinion over yours any day. Whats your beef anyways? Are you a Kiwi waiting to be shat on in August or something? Away with you!
Funny how the article talks about him wanting to shoot from the right side of the floor.
Be interesting to see if players like Kyrie and Lebron spend most of there time on the left meaning he ends up there by default. I hardly think a reserve player like him is going to have much say in where he sets up in the defense, he will end up where he is as a by-product of the more offensivly trusted players.
Almost any player int he NBA can do what Delly does, it`s a personal decision to hustle like he does. Few decide they want to do it though.

The facts are Delly got a team high score of 19pts today, team high 9 assists game 2, 100% shooting the other day and this is a guy who doesn't play for stats. He does all the 1%ers that coaches love and that is why he gets such a good wrap from the commentators.
I love hustle players. Players who put the team first, who make the smart plays, who play with their heart game in game out. Its infectious. Give me a stat for that.

Delly was awesome today to close out the series away from home. Hit some massive shots but so impressed by his defence also. Got lots of praise from JVG and Mark Jackson for his D on Rose in particular.
Even sweeter given the timing of his performance. After the suspension & tech from the game before, the Chicago crowd were booing him every time he checked into the game and a lot of times he was running the point.
He shut 'em up good! :-)
