He and Delly are going to announce their engagement after the play offs.
He is doing it for his mum (Gloria) and dad (Delonte).
If you watch the Wade and LeBron interview on Sportscenter yesterday you can see how he asks him about does he think he is the MVP and going up against Steph Curry. Makes a reference to how Karl Malone got the MVP and yet Jordan was clearly the best player .
I think this is what LeBron has as extra motivation to highlight that he is the best player on the planet head to head with the MVP who had the best stats in the league.

His motivation is one of three things.
1. he wants to win so james jones and mike miller can finally retire.
2. He was told by knox the reason they are broke is because they put their money on him winning finals mvp
3. His hairline has only 1 season left in it.
