Given the uneven distribution on teams across the district does home court advantage actually mean anything? South play Pasadena and Morphett vale as home courts. Saw Tigers play Forestville at Pasadena. Is there any advantage for a 'home' team? Maybe not an issue for div 3 to 5.
The team I coach doesn't train at our 'home' venue and our training facilities are better then our 'home' venue! Very little impact.

venues do not reflect size of club - outdated venues - south is biggest club yet has 2 court venue !
IMO for the amount of teams the stadiums should be -
tigers - 3 court venues
south - 4 court
sturt - 4 court
forestville - 4 court
woodville - 2 court
west - 3 court
western - 2 court
norwood - 4 court
north - 3 court
centrals - 3 court
mavs - 2 court
but it is based on other things as well - social usage / school / other sports.
This is why the community model is a bit more appealing - whilst there will be a carry on for courts -you can get better value through 1 canteen and reception etc etc when it is used for more than basketball. i.e. pool, gym

A lot of kids these days don't even understand the concept of home court advantage or sports psychology full stop.
They tend to trend to swagger as if it has substance, look cool act cool not realising the swagger as such comes from so much practice its now natural flair.
THat's really wierd.
I read the original post as being about home court advantage and whether or not it is relevant.
Strange how I didn't notice the bit about swagger and kids looking cool in there.
