Exactly what the Kings need. Legit title contender with that import combo

Interesting to see how he goes in a league like the NBL. These dynamic combo guard scorers never seem to score with the ease they do in college. He's the kind of player that looks quite suited to the NBA though.... Will be interesting to see how the development goes.

Most of the rookie 'combo' guards that come over straight out of college are really undersized, athletic SGs who struggle to finish inside against NBL defense and have iffy outside shots.

Thornton actually has a bit of size and can hit the college three. I saw him play a bit of summer league, he seems like he could be a quality import as long as he doesn't come in with the mindset of needing to shoot the ball every possession.

His style reminds me of Gary Ervin but only taller and more athletic

I like the team the Kings are putting together for next season & they should go well if they can keep their stars on the court. It's a real shame that they won't have a stadium to do their likely success justice.

So The Lineup will look like this?

Markovic/Cadee
Thornnton/ ?
Childress/ ?
Garlepp/ Hill
Khazzouh/ Brandt

sounding pretty good depending on who they get to play behind Thornton. That will test their depth.
Also is the first time where a team has had two people who played in the NBA and one guy who was drafted into the NBA and played in the summer league

Who are the two people who have played in the NBA?

Sixers in 1998/99 had Brooks and Mee as ex-NBA players.

Josh Childress and Julian Khazzouh played for the warriors for a ten day contract, which why it isn't the best thing he still played in the NBA

Indominous-Rex, that is pretty tenuous if you are claiming Khazzouh as a former NBA player. Correct me if I am wrong, but I can find no record of him ever stepping onto an NBA court.

Penney + Greene + Alston
Schenscher + Gill
Penney + Storey
Schenscher + Blalock
Penney + Turner
Schenscher + Hodge?
Anstey + Hodge
Heal + Fuller

It's actually been somewhat common in recent years.
