Forestville V North
Forestville women came out hungry and North paid the price for a lack lustre lst quarter.
Forestville women comfortable in the end with 66-77 score line.
Jenni Screen, Narelle Lindsay and Deanna Ranford were strong all night and the eagles also had valuable contributions from Cherie Smith, Belinda Tredwell, Mia Newley, Jo Matthews and Kylie Newbold.
North on the other hand struggled IMO all night. They were under constant pressure where as Forestville got some easy looks at the basket. Erin Phillips went scoreless in the first quarter, and although she tried hard never seems to hit her offensive rythym.
Too many times North allowed Eagles to rebound uncontested. And more alarming for Marc would be the amount of times his players passed the ball out of bounds when receivers never even knew the ball was coming.
Forestville now get the break whilst North will have to play the winner of South and Sturt.
One thing for sure Dean Kinsman has his girls playing well. Marc Wallis will have to take his team back to the drawing board or they won't go back to back premiers.
