What is the quality of this league compared to the NBL?

It's not quite at NBL level but it is a very Americanised league where players often make their first stop in Europe before progressing elsewhere.

It's where Rotnei Clarke played last year, and I think it was Jamar Wilson's first stop in Europe too.

Didn't Scott Christopherson play there as well?

Don't think so, reasonably sure he played VTB United before the NBL and Switzerland afterwards.
