Interesting in what Austin Rivers tweeted about the players involved

"Straight up better than a lot of those dudes playing last night....."

Went on to backtrack after twitter blew up. The guy is living on another planet.

The look on Steph Curry's face when he missed that 3 pointer, gold!

Austin Rivers is in Dream Land. And only in the NBA because of his dad.

Coming from a Clippers fan

Best Usa roster?

6'3 Steph Curry/6'3 Russell Westbrook/6'0 Chris Paul
6'7 James Harden/6'7 Klay Thompson
6'8 Lebron James/6'7 kawhi Leonard
6'11 Anthony Davis/6'10 Blake griffin/6'8 draymond green
6'11 deandre Jordan/6'11 Demarcus cousins

Maybe george or Durant in for kawhi.

Did Carmelo die? DJ and Draymond won't make it, Melo at the 4, Davis plays centre.

Dj won't make it?
I think he will.

Kawhi is a great defender, Durant is not.

If you put ad at centre you take away half of his skills...
The guy was raised a pg who can stroke the ball.

KD is the second best player in the World.... Why wouldn't he be in there? For international ball I would think it is more likely that you will have KD at the 4 and Davis at the 5.

Wow, what would be the $$$ value of that team, say compared with a world cup soccer team?

Durant is outstanding, no one with any idea at all about this game would leave him out. Next chosen after Lebron every time no q''s asked. Agree he'd play the 4, Davis the 5. What a front three they'd be, Davis is also first class all the way

Durants foot is injured, I'd say that's why he's left out of that squad. I really really hope

AD plays quite a bit of centre, and did so at the last Olympics. How much does having a stretch 5 help in international basketball? Opens up the key for Westbrook/ harden/ Steph to get inside

No need for DJ with AD and Boogie as your centres

KD is fully healed. He'll be playing.

I thought it was basically healed but still had a bit to go. Must have been an older article I read then. No chance a fully fit KD misses out. Arguably second best player in the game

Let's have a look at the top 10 highest paid soccer players for 2015.

1. Cristiano Ronaldo - $79 million
2. Lionel Messi – $70.5 million
3. Zlatan Ibrahimovic – $41.8
4. Gareth Bale – $34.9 million
5. Neymar Jr. $31.7 million
6. Radamel Falcao – $31 million
7. Wayne Rooney – $25.8 million
8. James Rodriguez – $25.4 million
9. Sergio Aguero – $25.3
10. Luis Suarez – $19.9 million

Compared with the top 10 NBA basketballers from 2014-2015...

1.Kobe Bryant, Lakers $25,000,000
2.Joe Johnson, Nets $24,894,863
3.LeBron James, Cavaliers $22,970,500
4.Carmelo Anthony, Knicks $22,875,000
5.Dwight Howard, Rockets $22,359,364
6.Chris Bosh, Heat $22,192,730
7.Chris Paul, Clippers $21,468,695
8.Kevin Durant, Thunder $20,158,622
9.Derrick Rose, Bulls $20,093,064
10.Dwyane Wade, Heat $20,000,000

Well, unfortunately I don't have the total value of each NBA players contract, but if we know that Bryant is getting his $25. million per year over let's say 4 years, then at a guess the NBA are on a par with the best soccer players.

If you know how to google it's actually stupidly easy to find out contract lengths. Kobes is two years

Ronaldo $80 million a year
Kobe $25 million a year

Speaking of contracts and $$$, did I hear correctly Andrew Gaze say the boomers team on Saturday night were worth well over $100 million?

That would make sense, given Bogut is over $100m for his career.

Bogut is the second highest paid GS player. Crazy

Definitely couldn't be 100 million for the year. Bogut 12, Delly 1, mills 4, bairstow 800k. NBL players will be on basically nothing.
