NBL Prediction Game

I'm starting a 2015/16 NBL prediction game.

Here are the rules:

- Predict how many wins each team will get.
- Have 1 point added to your total for the amount of wins that you are out by.
- Have 1 bonus point deduction for each team that you get exactly correct.
- The lowest score wins at the end of the season.
- For example- you pick Adelaide to win 16 games. If they win 14, you get 2 points. If they get 16 wins, you are -1.

We can revisit this thread in 6 months time. This should be fun.

I'm going to do two sets of predictions- 1 now and another after the Blitz.

My predictions right now:

NZ 17-9
Sydney 17-9
United 14-12
Illawarra 14-12

Perth 14-12
Cairns 13-13
Adelaide 10-16
Townsville 5-21

Each team plays 28 games not 26.

My bad- I was told it had changed to 26 games this season, compared to 28 from years gone by.

Will redo my predictions to 28.

Train, Baller, Matthew- you may want to re do your predictions.

You need a total of 112 wins. ie: Same number of wins and losses.

A small-sample consensus would suggest Snakes to slide (from last year's form) and Hawks to fly up the ladder.
Pre-season hit-outs are notoriously poor indicators of form, but the hide-and-seek games between between Cairns and Illawarra this weekend will be given special scrutiny.
One tip: Starks won't play much.

NZ 19-9
Illawarra 17-11
Sydney 16-12
Taipans 15-13
United 14-14
Perth 13-15
Adelaide 11-17
Townsville 7-21

I would have some teams with less if I didn't have to hit the qutoar. Same goes for wins in one case
