This is now for the Div 1 and 2 competitions only from U10 to U18.

Boys

Sturt 8 out of 10
Centrals 8 out of 10
North 5 out of 10
Woodville 4 out of 10
South 4 out of 10
Forestville 4 out of 10
Southern 3 out of 10
Norwood 2 out of 10
Eastern 1 out of 10
West 1 out of 10

Girls

Forestville 9 out of 10
Sturt 9 out of 10
Eastern 6 out of 10
Norwood 5 out of 10
South 4 out of 10
Southern 2 out of 10
West 2 out of 10
Centrals 2 out of 10
North 1 out of 10
Woodville 0 out of 10

Overall

Sturt 17 out of 20
Forestville 13 out of 20
Centrals 10 out of 20
South 8 out of 20
Eastern 7 out of 20
Norwood 7 out of 20
North 6 out of 20
Southern 5 out of 20
Woodville 4 out of 20
West 3 out of 20

Conclusions

Sturt are still out in front with Forestville second. Forestville still very strong in the girls but have a big let down on the boys side. More so in their lower division teams. Sturt look to be in front for winter finals for girls but Forestville are still Girls Champion Club when it mattered for State Champs

Centrals have certainly made a big impact on the boys side. And again could be given the edge over Sturt if not for Sturt winning the State Champion Boys award. Their girls need work but lower division teams are on the improve.

South might be the other club to have made a big move up. With 8 Div 1/2 teams in finals and 20 overall, they are on the up, and are back to being the biggest club after a real drop off. Pitty they didn't perform this well at State Champs.

Eastern have some very good results in their girls program but are still struggling in the boys side. Their lack of depth of numbers of teams seems to not matter as much at the top end, although they didn't have a great State Champs this year.

Norwood seem to have steadied the ship and increased numbers and have some good results. Very sporadic with their results and hopefully on the way back up. But currently are in the middle of the pack.

North are getting some better results in their lower age boys teams thanks to the incoming talent from other clubs. But they might need the same to occur for their girls to pick up.

Southern's new injection of leadership has resulted in an upwards move of 1 win in the upper level. Hopefully they can grow numbers and depth and reap the benefits of the Sturt imitation.

Woodville's girls are going to be hard work for quite some time, but their boys have got some good results this season. Lets hope they don't continue to lose the coaches and players at the U12/14 level as this time last year.

West seem like they have some work to do and don't have any real traction at the moment with their best teams working their way through U16's and U18s. Will need to see some big changes down the Port id suggest.

thanks stats room.

north's girls program a shadow of what it was.

west could be a lot better - they have the numbers.

sturt have consolidated in the girls program with good depth where forestville's lower divs have dropped off a bit.

norwood slightly improving.

eastern no depth but always a benchmark in higher divs.

tigers and centrals have a lot at their feet with new housing and families in their areas

More love needed for Centrals boys. Biggest turnaround ever.
Good coaches, stable environment. 5 years ago hardly a competitive div 1 team in sight! Now loads of state kids, NITP kids and kids heading off to College! Lions boys are rolling!
Well done Janx, well done Ricky!

Lots of people involved in turning around a program like that over more than 5 yrs.

I think Rupert seems to have a hand in it all too. Their U14 boys Coach?

Who really cares though?

It's the kid's sport. Just great to see kids out there having the chance to play the great game at div 1 and 2 level and not get hammered every week.

Credit to Trinity College for the venue and scholarships for Central Districts players. Without both Centrals would be nothing.

the boys group got better before trinity got that involved. In fact the success of the club paved a way for the kids then to attend trinity.

Look at how many players were centrals players then after time went to trinity compared to trinity students that then came to centrals.

Is it true one of the coaches is leaving now that his team isn't guaranteed to be top 2 on talent alone?

Whatever the reason is, congratulations to Centrals. What a turnaround from a club that was a laughing stock for a long time.

It's everyone that has done it. Coaches parents managers starplex trinity and most important the players.
