New NSW NITP Head Coach

Article on the BNSW website advising Shannon Seebohm is the new NITP Head Coach taking Mark Watkins place.
Interesting that he will still be the Flames Head Coach so question is asked when does he run the NITP camps during WNBL Season as well as do visits with squad members through the week in Metro not so much but country during wnbl season also.
Did not see any advertising for the role so obviously got head hunted by BNSW and too bad if anyone else wanted to apply for the position.
He has stepped up very quickly over the last 6-12mths from becoming Flames Head Coach to getting the U/17 Womens side and now this role as well.
Question is when will he fit it all in.
Nice guy and a good coach obviously but time may be an issue and particularly as he now has a new baby who only reasonable young as well.

I am aware of how the system works from a number of years involvement and I know the head coach is to do country visits to country athletes as well a metro visits and has Network coaches to assist so the Head Coach would be required to be away at times so how do the Flames also get their work with the Head Coach as well.

ie How will he attend country cup and East Coast Challenge when they clash directly with WNBL trainings and games?

He wont, given his WNBL and National team commitments. He could service the metropolitan area, but the country will suffer. Good young coach, but poor choice for this role.

He got the NITP HC role because he fits the mode of being in the BNSW boys club and will be controlled by the coaching director. NITP is a joke!

That's what its all about in these positions. It isn't always the best candidate, more the one that wont disagree or cause any issues with the board.
