Wildcats Rotations

Just wondering what others thought of the rotations Perth has used so far?
Obviously it was the same players in game 2, but the minutes were quite different.

It's interesting cos at times they went "big" with Knight, Redhage, Wagstaff, and Hire all on together, and at others relatively small with Knight, Red/Wag, Prather, Beal, and Kenny.
I wasn't following the NZ subs closely enough to see if the Cats were going for particular matchups.

What I also found interesting is that Knight is playing high minutes compared to the forwards. I noticed that on each rotation, he would move to centre for a few minutes after Jawai sat, before Jervis came in.

Knight is playing the second highest minutes behind Beal which is a little strange considering his history with injuries in the past and the amount of big guys in the team.... But then again he is one of their best players.

Martins injury along with the fact the team is top heavy with bigs will most likely mean we will see some strange rotations throughout the season.

So many Gleeson haters...

Add me to the mix too. He was arguing with the refs on friday night over a call that happened two plays ago. There was another foul after that for him to argue about but he was still banging on about something that wasn't helping.

Meanwhile his team forgot how to run an offence....

So the team forgets to run an offence and its Bevos fault. Amazing.

Feel bad for Bevo. Club wanted a more entertaining style of play so didn't renew his contract and replaced him with Gleeson. All Gleeson has done is continue the same style but with less of an effect plus the added bonus of constant whining and complaining. The core are Bevo players first and foremost. With Bevo now establishing himself in the Gong a few may go over there once contracts expire.

Ennis made Gleeson look good, well made him look great considering they won the championship that year.
Apart from that Gleeson is an average coach. Hasn't done much to prove he can win another championship.
I can't see him as head coach come next season.

In regards to the wildcats rotations, Matty Knight looks great at the 4!
One surprising roatation is how little minutes Hire is getting....

Yeah he does, playing some good minutes and monstering the boards too.

.
He was up in the first game, way down in the 2nd.
Not surprising considering that of the 5 players covering the 3 & 4 spots, he's probably #5, and Wagstaff is currently shooting better from outside.
