just trying to work out what time u20s played Fridays in years gone by.
6-7pm u12s
7-8.15 u14s
8.15-9.30 u16s
9.30-10.45 u18s
cant recall u20s starting at 10.45 - 10pm maybe or wasn't u14 non fully timed ? Can definitely recall 11.30 finishes with u20s
not that long ago all games were 60min time slots.
12s 6pm
14s 7pm
16s 8pm
18s 9pm
20s 10pm
Then HP Head Coach wanted fully timed games to match Nationals so Under 20s got bumped to Div 2 nights and generally were played at 8pm.
Beginning of the end for the Under 20 competition.
When u20's was around u12 & u14 div2's were played on Saturday mornings & so would often use the later time slots on a division 2 night.
They played away from the did 1 teams.
At the away stadium you had.
6pm u16 div 2
7pm u18 div 2
8pm u20 div 1
Nothing to do with fully timed games.
Everything to do with u12 and u14 coming from Saturday mornings into Friday nights.

i recall D1 nights the u20s playing last - but that was a t 3 court venues.
IMO I think the u12 and 14 d2s moving to Friday was a good idea.
u20 to 23s numbers all seem about par to what they were 15 years ago - some seasons low participation others high

those old times games always got behind as well - lot better now IMO
yes much better playing a 10pm full timed game on a tuesday night.
#963 you obviously didnt read the post. the games were moved to div 2 nights because div 1s went from 60min games to full timed. before that they were at the same venue as the other div 1s as posted above.
and only got dropped once bsa moved 12 and 14 2s from saturday to friday
I remember when the div 1 and 2s sometimes played at the same venue, was good in terms of being able to keep an eye on how players/teams were performing from your own point of view.
