Corletto wanted to create a club culture based on what Lemanis did at the Breakers, Edwards and Anthony fell well short of those standards and were given the boot.
Can't comment on the other two but it was probably either performance based or attitude based or both.

With Macmillan it was performance...they had a chance to bring in another permit player and got a well credentialed guy from USA.
How McMillan ever plays NBL is a joke. Terrible player

One thing ive noticed is that a lot of people undervalue the BBL/English Basketball. It's a pretty good league.
People think they can just pluck some guy who's played a bit of NBL and he will be a main contributor..often not the case.

It's as much about the local talent not being super, so guys who play as imports really need to produce, ala the NBL in it's first decade or so.
I'd liken it to the NZ NBL, the equivalent of a decent European second division league.
Is the NBL as good as a decent European second division league?
What comp is being referred to here where Corletto is cutting people?
BBL, British Basketball League
The BBL was where Julius Hodge's playing career ended when he was cut for a number of misconduct issues in late 2014.
