Interesting... Anyone familiar with him? Seems to have been a good bball prospect that went to AFL.

Some good highlights on you tube if you type in craig Moller. This would be good for basketball if he proves to be any good.

Some good highlights of what looks like Moller against division 5 under 19s talent at Menai stadium.

I guess worth the gamble with not much else to play for this year. Kings have some kind of connection with Sydney Boys High yeah?

Any idea how hard training bait is anonymous. They wouldn't be doing it for FB cred at all.

You'd be surprised! Most are never a realistic chance to play real NBL minutes.

The kid can play! Albeit if the YouTube footage is stuff his school friends took whilst belting some poor opposition : ) And the Kings should sign him up ASAP before someone else sneaks in under their radar. There's not too many 6'9" Aussie kids around that can play 1-5. He's had a few years off playing AFL but he will be a success wherever he plays.

Back in his junior rep days he was one of (if not the best) talents in the country! It was just a shame AFL could offer so much while bball couldn't compete.

His game is very much like J Chill's or Ben Simmons! Scary! I'm not a betting man, but I'll back him to make it, even if that's not till next year as he's only started back at ball just before Christmas.

Whoever wrote the last Post must be a relative because there is no way Moller would have been one of the best for his age as mentioned and comparing him to Ben Simmons is way off the mark.

If he was that good then he would have attended Aust Jnr Camps or gone to the AIS as it was known then or even to college-none of that happened.

In his junior days he hardly ever set foot inside the 3 point line and was pretty soft.

Prior to Christmas he was training with the Hawkes and if he thinks he will learn more from Connelly rather than Bevo then he is way off line.

Moller signed a contract with Fremantle at 15, I'd say basketball was put on the back burner but he he was certainly one of the best till then. I beleive he only played ball for Sydney Boys high after that and they won two national championship.
This kid can play and anyone involved in junior basketball when he was playing knows it and he certainly was not soft.
It's just good to get one back from the afl and anyone who into basketball should be happy and hope he makes a success of it.

Not a relo, just a lucky coach! : )
Had the pleasure of coaching him since he was 8 years old for 5-6 years.

He was very dominant & definitely NOT soft. NEVER missed a training session, played on hurt, even tried to play a semi final with an pneumonia! Kid has heart.

In his second last season of rep bball for Sutherland (in U14s) he led our team to a 6th place finish at the Nationals & was of the same calibre as the BIG GUN players from Victoria.

Very excited to see him back in bball... But as a Hawkies fan, I hope he ends up playing in the Illawarra next year : )
