36ers v NZ v Cairns is an interesting three-way race for the NBL 4th spot.

NZ play 36ers, then Cairns then United twice.

36ers play NZ (home), Cairns (away), Perth (away), Hawks (away)

Adelaide absolutely needs to beat NZ. It's a bit much to tackle Perth away or Hawks away.

If Adelaide beat NZ, that gets them to 4th where worst case (losing to Cairns, Perth & Hawks and NZ winning their last three games), would have 36ers and NZ at 15-13 each, 36ers winning the split.

If Adelaide lose to NZ but maintain the split, then Adelaide will badly need to rebound once against either Cairns/Perth/Hawks to stay in 4th unless NZ go 2-2 in their last 4.

If Adelaide lose to NZ but win 2 out of Cairns/Perth/Hawks, then 36ers stay 4th (assuming NZ win their last 3).

You're right KET, and what makes the re-way even more interesting is they all play each other this week!
