New NBL Player Agreement Signed

The National Basketball League and the NBL Players Association (NBLPA) have signed a landmark new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) that guarantees labour peace for the next three years.
Here are a few of the key details:
- An increase in the minimum player wage, which rises annually over the course of the three-year agreement
- A further step in the Dispute Settling Procedure involving the Australian Industrial Relations Commission (AIRC)
- The establishment of a minimum salary level for five-year players
- The linking of the NBL salary cap to NBL revenue
- Inclusion on the Player Points Review Committee of two members of the NBLPA
- An increase in the amount clubs may spend on player education
- The addition of Personal Leave, Sick Leave, Bereavement Leave and Carers Leave provisions
Sounds like the process was a little cleaner than that of the NBA's CBA earlier this year...

Except that the AIRC has no teeth thanks to Johnny.
