Bullets confirm Torrey Craig signing

THE Brisbane Bullets have secured their first US import with athletic forward Torrey Craig signing with the reborn NBL club for the next two seasons.

Craig spent the past two NBL campaigns with Cairns and was an important part of the Taipans squad that made the 2014/15 grand final.

The 25-year-old from South Carolina is the eighth player to commit to the Bullets ahead of the 2016/17 season and has been recruited to be the side's starting small forward.

Brisbane has already locked and loaded starters Adam Gibson (point guard), Daniel Kickert (power forward) and Tom Jervis (centre) along with highly credentialed bench players Anthony Petrie, Mitch Young, Shaun Bruce and Reuben Te Rangi.

Lemanis and CJ Bruton is putting together a team that
has players to be a very competitive team at the very least and possibly make the finals.

I suspect Mick Downer has more to do with most of these signings than CJ and Lemanis.

They just need a quality import PG and this team should do well.

Yeah, I would assumed Gibson didn't come back up to Brisbane to play off the ball again...

A combo guard is the perfect fit alongside Gibbo.

I saw somewhere that Beal was heading East, maybe to the Bullets?
