36ers v. Wildcats pre-season game

Just read on the Wildcats forum that Perth have defeated us 83-78 in today's game.

Apparently Farley scored 20, Forman 15, Cooper 8 and Rychart 6.

Liam Rush had 22, Ronaldson 17, Tovey 14, Shanahan 11 and Rogers 7 for Perth.

Nash, Holmes, Rees and Hill did not suit for the 36ers.

Perth were without Peter Crawford, Shawn Redhage and their new import David Bailey, a 5'9" Earl Boykins look-a-like Point Guard that averaged about 12ppg and 8 assists in the US CBA last season.

Scott Fisher even played for Perth and scored 2 points. LOL

Does anyone know how many games they were playing in Perth, not sure if it was 3 or whether that was the total preseason games including 1 in Millicent and 1 at the Dome. No one wants to speak badly of the club because we are all on the same side, but again no information whatsoever on the preseason games. Getting so close to the season commencing, people are getting excited and interested in knowing what's happening at the moment. Why is it the fans are always labled the villains when complaining about a lack of information, when all they are doing is showing an interest in what's going on. Also I note that the pre season game next Sunday at the Dome was only reported on this website. Again nothing on the official website. Haven't heard from Bongo either for quite a while. If you are reading this Bongo, perhaps you might like to reply.

Yeah, agree it is disappointing there has been no info as to last night's pre-season game or indeed tonight's game.

Not only is there nothing on the 36ers site but there is nothing on Perth's site or the official NBL site.

The only info re the pre-season games have come from posters on the Wildcats forum who attended the game.

If I hear anything re tonight's game I will post ASAP.

Someone reported on Wildcats forum that Wildcats won tonight's game by about 12.

Wildcats again playing without either of their imports.

No stats for either team have been provided yet.

With so many players missing for both teams you can't read much into the two losses.

I think the three games in WA were pulled back to two. They play another one or two against Melbourne, and then one at the Dome on August 21.

Nah, don't worry about stats, they are pointless in the pre season. If we were smashed by Hunter 0-2 then I'd be a little edgy, but nothing lost, something gained like some fitness and iron out some kinks before the real stuff starts.

Seems that Maher didn't play (maybe in either game?), so the Sixers probably went to Perth with Willie, Dusty, Oscar, Coops (no Hill, Holmes, Nash, Maher, Rees).

Perth were missing both imports and Crawford, plus Boucher in at least one game.
