Bairstow traded to Pistons

Per http://www.nba.com/pistons/news/detroit-pistons-acquire-forward-cameron-bairstow-chicago-bulls

His tenure with the team might not last long, but the Pistons currently have two Aussies!

Anywhere that gets him more playing time is better than the Bulls. He seems to have a very narrow skill set, so I hope Detroit can use it and then develop it.

Wonder if Baynes helped that decision?

^Probably. I don't see how he fits Detroits style of play, offensively, unless he's expanded his shooting range.

The Pistons can save a million in cap space if they waive him by June25. Disappointing - not sure if he'll make another roster so maybe the NBL will come calling

He will be waived. When the pistons announcement about the trade is all about how they wanted to give the guy they let go a chance to play, you know they don't have much interest in cam.

Then they also noted he won't be on their summer league team because of Olympics so he'll have to have a big Olympics to impress

Makes sense. Oh well, if Cam is good enough to remain in the league a team will pick him up. If not, he's certainly not out of options.
