You might want to specify which state you're referencing.

Souths under 14 div 1 girls announcement raised a few eyebrows, I wonder if she will last the whole season this time, obviously no one called the Tigers for a reference

SOUTHERN TIGERS 2016/17 JUNIOR DIVISION ONE COACHES

Southern Tigers are very pleased to announce their Division One coaching lineup for the upcoming season. With an exciting lineup consisting of some new recruits along with some familiar faces, we are looking forward to seeing everyone at our trials on August 21st.

BOYS
U10 - Michelle Fisher. Michelle has been involved with Southern Tigers for many years, coaching both boys and girls sides for over 20 years. Along with running a successful U10 program she has also been the Premier League women's team manager for the past two seasons.

U12 - Lisa Gill. After playing all her junior and senior basketball at Noarlunga City Tigers, Lisa moved into the coaching ranks. Lisa has been involved with both boys and girls coaching for over 12 years, the last 4 of which have been with U12 boys. She is also a coach in the NITP program on Saturday's with the Futures group.

U14 - Cobi Jones. Coming to us from the Norwood Flames, Cobi has been involved coaching juniors for 5 years. Taking the U12 boys this year, he lead them to a state title. Cobi has also been involved with the SA Metro U16 Men as an apprentice coach and has been involved with NITP and Southern Cross Challenge teams.

U16 - Ryan Vivian. Also joining us from Norwood, Ryan has coached in both state champs and winter season championship teams. Ryan was an apprentice coach for the 2016 U18 SA Metro Men's team and a regular at NITP. Holding a Bachelor of Applied Science and studying his Masters of Teaching, Ryan is always very keen to teach and develop our young athletes.

U18 - Jimmy Alexander. After completing his junior playing career at North Adelaide, Jimmy took up coaching and playing at the Woodville Warriors. He led the U16 boys to a successful season, finishing runner up at state champs and is currently involved with NITP.

GIRLS
U10 - Mick Fisher. The clubs president for the second time, Mick's dedication to the club is unquestioned. Having coached both boys and girls previously, Mick has been coaching a successful U10 girls program for the past four years.

U12 - Mollie McKendrick. Premier League superstar and Adelaide Lightning member, Mollie McKendrick will take over our U12 girls. After completing four years at Boston University, Mollie has been working with SA Country basketball and brings with her a wealth of coaching and playing experience.

U14 - Matt Clarke. Matt hung up his playing boots in 2013 after a 13 year Premier League career, followed by a reserves championship and moved into coaching. During his two seasons of coaching, Matt qualified for the National Junior Classic both years and won the 2015 winter season. Moving over to girls for 2016/17, Matt is also planning on getting involved with NITP and SA Metro programs in the near future.

U16 - Ryan Byrne. Coming to the Tigers from the Eastern Mavericks, Ryan has been heavily involved in the SA Country program. Along with head coaching at the Great Southern Slammers and U15 Southern Cross teams, Ryan was an apprentice coach with the U18 Women's SA Country team in 2016.

Looks like if you are from the Southern area you going to get a good look by SA Country with both development officers now coaching for Tigers.

South and Southern have made their appointments public.

I believe that West and Forestville haven't announced them. Not sure about the other clubs, but I expect Sturt are in the same boat.

re: SA Junior club coaching line-ups?

If both SA Country Development officers are coaching junior/senior teams at Tigers and with that being a 3 night/day a week commitment at least there mustn't be much junior development going on in the country areas then.
Surely SAC wouldn't allow this???

I think you'll find one has resigned. And the other isn't coaching juniors at Tigers, or isn't on their coaching lineup announcement at least.

I would have thought announcing them before trials would have made sense?
